Hello! My name is Tish Harris, and I’m the Chaplain at Gleneagle State School. I’m proud to call Gleneagle my local community, having two children who attend school here. My role, as outlined by the Department of Education, is to provide social, emotional, and spiritual support to our students, families, and staff. It is a joy to be able to serve our school community in such a way.
Some of the ways I live out this role include lunchtime games with students, leading of crafts and activities, classroom support, one on one support when requested by families, and Breakfast Club. I’m thankful for my parent volunteer and student volunteers who help with that each week!
